The Goei International Friendship Tournament (GIFT) invites you to build your own international team — a foursome drawn from the many countries, cultures, and communities that make West Michigan what it is — and bring it to the first tee.
Business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and civic partners will share the course for a day of relationship building guided by an old ideal the tournament takes as its purpose — e pluribus unum — out of many, one.
Whether you carry a single-digit handicap or you're still finding your swing, the scramble format keeps the day welcoming — the point is who you meet between shots.
From first tee to final putt.
Set among the hills of Belmont, just north of Grand Rapids, Boulder Creek is an 18-hole championship course designed by Mark DeVries — a par-72 layout that runs from the elevations of the front nine into the lush hills of the back, with bent-grass fairways and greens throughout.
Five tee boxes at every hole keep the day welcoming for every player in the field, from seasoned competitors playing nearly 7,000 yards to first-timers at the forward tees — a course built, fittingly, for many kinds of golfers on one fairway. An elegant clubhouse with a pro shop, restaurant, and terrace anchors the day, and the course has earned national recognition, including a place on Golf Magazine's "Top 100 You Can Play."
